Do you find it difficult to find the time and money for regular date nights? Here are some fun and unique date nights you can enjoy without breaking the bank!
#1 Make Your Own Fondue. Cut up fresh fruit, cake, cookies, marshmallows, and pretzels and melt your favorite chocolate using a fondue pot or crock-pot for dipping.
#2 Have a Game Night. Pull out all of your board games and invite a group of friends over for a fun night of competition.
#3 Take a Free Factory Tour. Enjoy a short history lesson and a walk while sampling delicious products. Here are some ideas:
#4 Go Bowling. To make things a little more difficult, remove the bumpers and try different styles like only using your non-dominate hand, keep your eyes closed, or bowling with your back turned.
#5 Make Homemade Pizza. It is inexpensive, easy, and fun if you do it together. Turn on some Italian music, open a bottle of wine and have a picnic by the fire.
#6 Have A Theme Night like Mexican night. Go to Margaritas, La Carreta or your favorite authentic Mexican restaurant and follow it up with salsa dancing!
#7 Plan A Foodie Getaway. Support local farm to Restaurant by picking from American, Barbecue, Diner, European, Indian, Irish, Italian, Mexican, Pizza, Seafood, Steakhouse, Tex-Mex and more during Restaurant Week and get great deals on lodging in May. If you can’t wait until May, pick a place you both haven’t been to, and who knows, it could become your next favorite.
#8 Plan for a Half or Full Day Hike or Trail Ride. Pack a delicious picnic so you can reward yourself at the top of the mountain. There are so many hidden gems:
- Rockingham Recreational Trail, Manchester, NH (Full Day)
- Mt. Chocorua, Pequawket, NH (Half Day)
- Mt. Moosilauke, NH (Half Day)
- Ashuelot Rail Trail, Keene, NH (Full Day)
- Presidential Traverse, Randolph, NH (Full Day)
#9 Write a Bucket List. Make a list of things you want to do during your life (dream big!!), go do one of them, and cross it off your list! Maybe a ride in a hot air balloon or something more extreme?
#10 Go House Hunting. Tour some open houses and plan out your dream home! Don’t forget to bring free our home buying guide with you!
